can I now bring shampoo & other liquids on the plane. I hate checking baggage.

John,

Yes as long as it is in a clear Quart zip lock bag and the container can carry 3.4 fluid ounces or less. You need to put this bag through the X-ray in one of the the plastic bins not in any of your carry on luggage.
