Look - up in the sky
 

Hey Northeast peeps...Make sure catch the show tonight about 11:45 PM. I heard on the news this morning there will be one of those meteorite showers. I caught one a few years back and it was incredible. It looked like a sky full of shooting stars.

I can't find a link on it.

Thanks for the info, I will be out on the eastend of Longsland so the star watching we be better (no city lights)

OMG!! Thanks guys! My daughter will be going crazy...Its been raining for a week here and today there isnt a cloud in the sky...Now I just have to find a way to stay awake that late...:rolleyes:

It was awesome the last time I saw it. I went out on my deck, wrapped in a blanket on a lounge chair and just watched the show. Stars shooting from every direction. Breathtaking.

Sounds cool. Looks like were out down here.:mad:

What a site!! :wow: We fell asleep (like I thought we would) but I woke up at 4 in the morning and immediately got the little one up. She was NOT happy at first, but after she saw one, that was it...I couldnt get her back to bed! Not afraid to let all know that I froze my freakin' nads off out there! Damn it was cold...Anyway, we saw a bunch of "slower" moving debris, not sure if they're related...

Anyway, a special thanks to Laura for the reminder! I never would have known otherwise..
