Extended Warranty.
 

I talked to my dealer today to extended my BMW warranty on the X5, he quoted me $1744.00 for 100K, warranty. How does that price sound?

What does that include?

How many miles do you have now and what does that cover?

Only a 2004?

BMW Extended Warranty Plan - it's identical to CPO coverage.

Didn't you already get one from BMW of Macon?

Seems like they misquoted considering the price is below their cost. The major thing that stands out to me is that unless, you're rack up >= 25k mi/year the value isn't that high.

I asked my service advisor 2 weeks ago about warranty.
He said BMW doesnt offer extended warranties to 100k miles...and that we have to source it from an aftermarket company. They do however offer extended maintenance till 100k...and that costs around $1500.
He did say extended warranty runs around $3k.
