Ups Stinks!!!

When you buy something you should have a choice of not to choose UPS.

it always helps to have supporting arguements..

You can't argue that UPS doesn't have the fastest Ground Shipping..

Ups

United Parcel Service is great.

They have a large one day ground service area and my driver "Pat" knows who to leave the package with if I am not around.

When send overnight items I have have Pats personal cell number and he will pick up well past 6:00 PM. Try getting that service form the post office.

I avoid using UPS for anything under $500 if it has to cross the Canadian border. They charge outrageous custom brokerage fees. I have to admit that the UPS delivery guy on my route has been very good though. I complained to him about custom brokerage fees and he rolled his eyes and says "tell me about it".

Not good. I have not had that yet.

UPS recently (last several months) modified their supply chain to improve their Ground service speed. FedeX has been losing market share in their US operation, but aren't overly concerned because they have been focusing on and dominating international service, especially the ever-important one to East Asia.

DHL is the absolute worst!

My favorite is when a signature is required for something in person and UPS, FedEx and the like show up at 10:30 on a week day. Yeah, we don't have jobs or anything. Then they come back the following day...........at the same time.

How abouta reason why....

Let's say that when time comes for me to die, I would like UPS to deliver my death. This is from my experience with UPS. With FedEx, on the other hand, I never had problems, or delays. UPS drivers are company drivers, so they always have time to spare. FedEx has contractors, and their goal is to make as many deliveries as possible.
