I wrote this to a friend, and I think he might have gotten offended..does this sound pc to you?

I grew up in the Middle East until I was 8. It's kind of black and white there: either very prosperous or in the sht hole. ie, we resided in Oman, very peaceful, good living etc. Life is VERY laid back there. The countries are very sparsely distributed within due to the nature of weather.

Why would he be offended? The sh*thole remark? :dunno:

I don't think it was offensive Vig. Who knows what goes through peoples heads. I'm tired of trying so hard not to offend anyone.

Pretty sure the receiving party is upset over something in the message I sent them, this seemed to be the most borderline material I could find in my message. Just checkin with you guys though...makin sure I don't owe anyone an apology. Thanks for takin a look.

If he is a friend and you are debating his wife, kids, et al., or making him feel "less a friend", I wouldn't worry...I/we understood your comment and opinion, clearly.

Screw PC. I take great pains to avoid insulting anyone unintentionally, but if you try hard enough, you can find fault with just about anything and anyone. Let it go.

I probably shouldn't have used the word pc...this was more about not unintentionally insulting a fellow member..
