what's offensive? someone made an honest mistage situating the decal when the girder was on the ground, and they replaced it... was there more to the story? :dunno:

I'm glad they caught it, even if it was the dreaded media that picked up on it. The important thing is that it got fixed and as a secondary benefit, it educated people about the proper display of the flag. I don't think many people knew the rules. I wonder how many people know about the proper way to retire, or dispose of, a worn out American flag. :dunno:

A minor mistake that most people would not even notice. It's certainly not as offensive as when a U.S. Marine color guard flew the Canadian flag upside down at the opening of game two of the 1992 World Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Toronto Blue Jays.
