As has been said, "we" are not doing anything with him. What is being presented to the public is that the Iraqi government is holding him and their court is the one who convicted him, and they are the ones who will execute him by what is appropriate in their law.

Now whether or not you want to argue that they are a puppet government of the United States, that is a seperate argument. But it is they who are doing all of this.

Yes they are puppets that we are teaching democracy.........why can't we teach them about cruel and unusual punishment?

Because those doing the teaching (the current occupier of the white house and his cabinet) probably do not believe in that and would most likely bring back hanging in the United States if they could.

Its a sad state of affairs when the country is run by a president that is a decider instead of a leader.
