Turbo diesel V12 Q7
 

Looks like quite a machine, perhaps even one I'd be interested in if it was $50k less expensive. I'm not saying I think it's overpriced, I just can't afford it. I'm really liking the idea though. Maybe BMW should do something like this for it's hypo-2008 X5 instead of the twin-turbo V8 - i.e. a 550 hp, 800 lb-ft, 20mpg V12 turbo diesel. Something like that could tow your furnished house to the track, and then blow the doors off everyone when it got there! :thumbup:

Nice, $110K is probably a good price for that thing given the price of its competition...ohh and its 700+ tq.

Pretty cool, however, with the price of diesel likely to go up even more with the new Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel I don't see much incentive for small diesel suv.

Is that the same engine that was in the Toureg V12?

I believe the TD engine in the Toureg is a V10...
