Interesting article....

I'm Jewish as are many of my friends, and over the years I've met many older Jewish people that will not buy a BMW or Mercedes due to the fact that they are German vehicles and that those companies played a part in building up the Nazi military before and during WWII. So I found this article very interesting....

Nazis rode to war on GM wheels

I’m not shocked.

Plenty of European and US companies (and also governments all over the world) helped the Nazis.

Money rules the world…:trustme:

I knew about Opal and that they helped build up the Nazi war machine, but I did not realize they were such a large part of it. I remember reading that in the late 1940s, GM received several billion dollars in reperations from the US government for the damange caused to their Opal factories during the allied bombing of Germany. Yes, you read that right....our government apoligized and paid reparations for damange done when we bombed factories that made Nazi war vehicles.:wow:

Figures.... the first word in the title of the first link is "Bush".

If you actually look into it, Prescott Bush was nothing more than a high level employee for a bank that did business with the Nazis. While the bank itself was prosecuted for violating "trading with the enemy" laws, Bush himself was not an officer of the company, and thus he was not prosecuted as an individual.

There are many other big names who were much more guilty of doing business with the Nazis during wartime.....people like Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller and William Randolph Hearst.
