Make no difference where you got it. Grab your reciept head on down and make an appointment with one of the genisus at the genisus bar. Or make an appointment online. And yes Providence Place Mall Apple Store Opened September 23rd, 2006

Sorry for the bad Apple! But this is interesting as I know so many people with Ipods and the problem all lie in the area of battery strength. This is the first I heard with an actual problem! Take it back and Apple should take good care of you. Tell them about the lemon law :)

Last night my son's nano first started skipping from song to song then it just froze. Srceen on but none of the control work. It powered off once the battery drained. This morning we charged it and it seems to work fine, but still WTF?!?!?

Yep! it happend to my old one ALL.THE.TIME.
I did get a replacement but this one has it's own personality too.

YEAH...A COUPLE OF THINGS...I am on version 1.3, which was a surprise. I left if charging all night...we will see where this goes. If still a problem I am going to put everthing in box and hit the store on lunch on Monday.
