Will definitely miss the pressers. I'm not sure that TO pushed him over the edge though. JJ was the one who brought TO in and told Tuna to deal with it. So if anything, JJ made him retire. Tuna screwed JJ, just like JJ screwed Tuna.
Also, TO didn't do anything in Dallas that was overboard IMO; the press blew everything out of proportion! The hamstring in the pre-season? All the doctors said it was hurt, so why make a big deal out of it? The so-called 'suicide' attempt? His stupid press person screwed that up herself and she was later fired by TO. He played with a broken hand and torn tendon for almost the entire year. 90%+ of most primadonna WRs in the NFL would have been out a few games; TO missed none. Personally, I'd take 1300 yds and a league-leading 13 TDs anytime. And, he didn't kill either QB as he has done with other teams when they don't get him the ball enough. He shoulda said something about Bledsoe, but Tuna finally got his head out his ass and switched to Romo. That seemed to work out pretty well (although Bobble Boy did ruin their season:))
Don't get me wrong, what he did to the Eagles was totally on him, and he deserves to look like the fool he is sometimes, but I thought he was almost 'choirboy' -esque in Dallas, given his past.
I can't believe I'm sticking up for anything Cowboys-related, but the press is just as stupid as TO IMO.
