Hey G - My 2nd car was a 1980 Firebird Esprit in Charcaol Grey over Red Velour with a puny little V8 that couldn't have been over 260ci. I blew up the engine one night doing a high-speed run home from a fraternity party.

Chevys

My first car was a 1966 Chevy Biscane 250cid straight six with a 3 speed on the column. 20+ mpg and lots of room. The name of it was "Hi Ho Silver" from it top color. We also had another one similar at the time a 1966 with a 283 V8 that was my sisters it was called "Blackie Bono" also from its color. Neat cars yet. With a powerful AM radio....

1966 Mustang hardtop, dark blue, 289 with Cruisomatic. Towed it home with a seized engine in 1975 and spent over a year rebuilding it from the ground up. It was ready the week before my 16th birthday. Had a factory four track tape deck (mono 8 track)/am radio, and practically every factory option. I traced it back, and a dealer principle had ordered it for his wife, that was why it had all the options. I still have the owner's manual, in plastic, never been opened, if anybody has a Canadian spec 1966 Mustang.

And for any of those who get their cars purchased for them these days, this was bought and restored with the savings from three part time jobs.

Nah not that I just don't care...old people view themselves as too serious if you want to lament about times when things were good before the wrinkeled skin, loss of muscle definitinon, not having to gum your food or your women...talk with the younger generation share your stories and allow us to laugh at what you have become
