I know! This trial cost what, $4 million? Good grief...

A shame.

It is amazing that with enough money, you can find 12 morons. Anyone who sleeps in the same bed with children that are not their own should be locked up, period.

I guess the jurors thought that the alleged victims are just as unseemly as Mike. They probably don't know who in the hell to believe.

Hurry! If we leave now we can be at Neverland Ranch by dinner time. The party will start promptly at 8:00. The boys will be released from their cages and the festivities can begin.

Seriously, it's not a big surprise. I predicted that he would be acquitted of the serious potential state prison crimes and get convicted of a misdemeanor relating to providing alcohol to a minor. Obviously the jury gave the DA a big F you by not even convicting on a token misdemeanor. They were sending a message. The problems with the case came down to two things: the victim and his mother were revealed as very unbelieveable people with agendas, and the DA was perceived as going on a witch hunt. It wasn't even so much about MJ's money buying his way out of it. I think that if the victims of any case like this can be shown to be deceitful and have an agenda, anyone can get acquitted.

BUT... as I always say, there is no such thing as innocence, just varying degrees of guilt. (C)(R) :D
