ok, ultramon explains it... i have a matrox dual head card and have the primary extended onto the 2ndary to create 1 big monitor area.... i don't think i'll ever go back to a single monitor setup, it makes Photoshop a lot easier to use...

This setup works great for me, but I'd love to see a pic of your setup

well, i've been in the IT business for almost 20 years :)

I use ultramon too.... very cool program. I love how you can stretch the wallpaper and extend the taskbar and apps on that monitor show up on that taskbar. Here's a shot of my dual head set up (minus 1 19" flat panel). Once you use two monitors it is really tough going back to one.

I am a two monitor junky.. It takes me a while when I switch between laptop and desktop to get used to the one monitor again.

Nice Jeff! On mine, I really like how the mouse pointer moves seamlessly from one screen to the next, and how you can drag an app. from the left screen to the right screen etc... Here's the real reason I have 2 monitors. It's a great story. My 17" Dell LCD went on the fritz. I sent it back under warranty. They sent me a brand new one. Latest model of course :D . All was good, then they sent me a refurbished model of the original monitor that I sent back under warranty. They didn't ask for the new one back. I waited a couple of months to make sure I was in the clear, then I bought a dual VGA port card and set them both up. The rest is history. Oh, then I found the Win TV GO card on sale at CC for $49.99 as well. It has worked perfectly for me. No way I am ever going back to one monitor now :thumbup: . If you guys have any tips/tricks for dual monitor setups, please do share.
