I'm about to transfer actually so I've been looking myself, I'm really loving SFSU and UW in Seattle or I've been looking at schools in DC

undergrad--Univ of South Alabama (Mobile)
grad--Univ of Alabama in Birmingham

I turned down scholarships at several well-known schools for my BS, in favor of staying close to home. It was the right decision for me, at the time. Lots of factors to consider, besides the cachet of any particular school.

SFSU has a great journalism program and teaching program...what are you planning on studying?

Me? Psychology and International Business/Marketing (still on the fence)

Internation marketing? Is that like marketing countries to other countries?

I matriculated from UCLA in the era of college protests and student unrest. It was the best time of my life and I still have a deep passion for my school.
