The Toyota engine that Lotus uses is absolutely horrid and the gearbox+shifter are even worse. They really should switch to the Honda K20 motor (actually a lot of people do this swap with Elise's).

Their comments about the GT3 suspension was really surprising/confusing.

Celica GTS - VVTLi version (2ZZ) of the MR2 motor (1ZZ), plus supercharger. I wholeheartedly agree that the car would be better and more fun with the K20, but it just wasn't going to happen. I also think there is only one example of a Federalised Elise (with the Toyota motor) being swapped for a Honda motor, but it was more common with the older Rover-motored cars.

Yea, it's the engine from the GTS..not good.

Ram, you have an Elise and S2000. How about putting the F20c in the Elise ;).

I'm a huge p-car fan.... just happen to own a Z06 ;)
