Since our lil' buddy Curious Joel will be out of circulation and unable to post complaints, I thought I'd throw one out there.

I spent about an hour last night trying to find something to buy on Amazon. I ordered a Racor bicycle hoist for my garage for the low low price of $25. (It's $40+ everywhere else.) Cool! The only thing was that to get free shipping you have to spend $25. I was $0.01 off. What the hell do you buy for a penny??? I tried to buy a wax applicator sponge for $0.90 but it was from some other store, not Amazon, and I didn't want to mess with how the shipping would work. I searched around the site in just about every department. The main reason I was so determined was that shipping for that one item would have been $10 and I'd be damned if I didn't at least get something for that $10. I finally decided on Beck's new CD for $10.99. At least that way I sort of get a free CD since shipping would have cost me $10.

I hate when I get obsessive. :tsk:

Don't feel obligated to pick the CJ Complaint flag and run with it... his vacation might be a good vacation for us too :)

Okay then, let me tell you about this guy who tried to sell me some speakers, kidnapped me, then messed up my headlights. :D

I think they make a pill for that. :dunno: Check with your favorite pharmaceutical rep, maybe Dr. Kewl can write you a Rx. :)

The last time Dr. Kewl wrote me a 'script it was for Viagra and when the pill got stuck in my throat I got a stiff neck. :bustingup Okay, that was a bad one.

why didn't you just call customer service and ask if they would extend the free shipping to you?
For a .01 I am sure they would have done it.

It was late at night and I was on a mission. Like I said, I get obsessive. I had been meaning to buy that CD anyway.

Good plan though. I'll try that next time.
