You make it sound like MB invented the technology. The idea of urea injection was first conceived and implemented in the european Class 8 truck industry. MB later used the technology in the E320 and called it Bluetec. It's just like Honda's VTEC, BMW's VANOS, Toyota VVT-i, etc etc.
