I had the cellular option installed on my ADT system and it's on UPS... and there are my 2 malamutes that don't take kindly to strangers.... Thunder is 125lbs, and Nikki is 110lbs and they're all teeth! :)

u gotta love the security of 2 dogs that are as big as a person.
i have 2 Rottweiler's. both are approx. 125lbs.

don't tell anyone but my 2 malamutes will lick ya death before they even think about biting you. Unless of course you try to bring either of them into the house while there is snow on the ground, then you get to see every tooth in their mouths as they growl at you and refuse to come inside the house.

Alarms are like politics: everyone has a story and likes "theirs" the best, :rolleyes:

We have a simple sys that will keep out most, but probably not the high tech pros. The hurdle a burglar would have here, is that there is only one road up and down this mountain. When there is an alarm set off on the mtnside, the local cops simply park blocking the road at the base of the mtn by the golf club, and sort out anyone coming through.

No dogs, but we do have attack cats, :p , and some serious firepower if some azzhole comes in when we are home.

Interesting site, though...am gonna check it out. The "cell phone alarm connection", in this area, is extremely pricey for both installation and monthly fee. Dunno, high tech alarms seem overkill here in hillbillyheaven. Most of the B&Es are crash and grab the TV/stereo stuff. And, if a Real Pro is coming, they are coming when you are gone to avoid confrontation and taking any damn thing(s) they want, imo.
