I posted this in the e53 section yesterday. I was curious after I saw the comercial. In fact the Edge is faster 0-60 with a time of 7.4 seconds BUT THAT IS ONLY THE FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ONE!!! haha

Edge 0-60 with AWD is 8.4 seconds.

With the X5 3.0 coming in at 7.8

Everyone tries to take a swing at the top dog. I still throw up a little in my mouth when I hear hyundai mention any BMW in their ads.

they don't even make it anymore...and it's the same as the 750i

when referencing a BMW, reference something that makes sense! not just picking one item to critique and to base comparison:rant:

Everyone tries to take a shot a BMW. Cuz they're probably envious and puzzled as to how such expensive, "underpowered", "cramped", and "small" cars (BMW) can sell so well despite offering less of almost everything at a higher price than its competitors.

I like the commercial.

lol I noticed yesterday they changed it to 760Li! They must have taken out the tape measure again becuase I always thought it was the 760i, too.
And yes, they also say the Azera has more hp than the 530i. Well here comes the 535!

when you're as desperate as ford and hyundai youll try anything and say anything....just walk into one of those dealerships, just trash all over, and that goes from their GM to their salesmen....and oh, the client base too!

ps: no offense to anyone that works at ford or hyundai but this is based off my xperience at montclair ford and mos brothers ford...

Who cares what they claim. Their stock is at $4.16!!! Might wanna take a look at that before you call yourself " best at this and that " I'm sure their shareholders are thrilled with ford's success.:confused:

They probably changed it because the 760i is unfortunately not sold in the US anymore. Thus, it has to be the Li version.

Don't worry, after the 535i comes out, they'll change the commercial comparision to 528i. I don't think Hyundai makes bad cars or anything, its just whoever thinks of these comparisons in the Marketing dept. deserves to be fired. When was the last time you heard Honda bragging "Our Honda Accord V6 has more horsepower than a BMW 328i" ?

I know I brought up the Ford Edge commercial the other day, but If anyone is watching the final four, did you happen to see the new pontiac commerical? "faster than a porsche boxter, and faster than a bmw x5"
