Where to? Trip...

I am going to graduate in 6 weeks and I want to plan a trip somewhere. I looked at cruises but you have to be 21 and my gf is only 20. I am pretty much open to any ideas. I want to use my passport! Please give me some ideas, and post deals if you know of any. Thanks!

It depends on your budget..........Europe can be a great place but it's very pricey especially during the summer high season. In addition, the falling US Dollar versus the Euro makes everything that much more expensive (I recently ordered a T-shirt from Germany, which after the exchange rate + shipping, was close to $60 USD). Asia can be expensive (Japan) or very cheap, but that's not everyone's taste and the weather can be unbearable in the South Pacific.

Thailand is extremely cheap. A friend just took 6 weeks off and is travelling all over Thailand.

if you can afford it, and you want to experience the most baller place on the planet right now, it's probably worth visiting Dubai before it gets totally over-bloated and implodes under its own weight in the next 10-15 yrs or so........ i have friends who've been there and they said it's AMAZING. makes vegas look like disneyland by comparison.

that said, you said a place to take you girl. hm. yeah, choose a nice island somewhere for a week or two.

New Zealand is a great place to travel. Been there twice, even bought townhouse there the first time (just sold it though). Great people, lots to do and see, and reasonably priced. And everyone speaks english, so you can understand what they say (most of the time)
