Spring is here and it's time for new landscaping
 

Unfortunately, I lost a LOT of shrubs, trees etc... In our severe frost (Relatively speaking for AZ :)).

So after visiting the local nursery and ordering about 20 new plants, I took the BIG PLUNGE and got this 10' Date Palm. I have always wanted a big palm in my backyard. I'll send pics after it is planted on 4/20 :D.

Dibs on the first crop of dates!

Ken is wanting to plant a Japanese Maple once our place is finished... I guess that will do...

Cool. That tree looks taller than 10' but it could just be the angle of the pic. What does a tree like that go for?

Trunk = ~ 5ft. + Fronds = ~ 5ft. Ummm, bout' $3k planted, It takes a crane to lift that bitch over the wall ;)
