How'd ya like that storm?

I just got power back, so naturally this is my first order of business :nanana:
How did you all do with the storm, it had a tour of destruction across the country? Here are some photos. No net snow here (but 36" at the mountain!!!!) enjoy   If you care: Picture 1 is the golf course I live by. Picture 2 is a common scene here in maine right now, a totally uprooted tree Picture 3 is the other part of the golf course, with a bunch of formally open fields/pasture. OUCH. turn around and go other way  Pictures 4,5, and 6 were taken from a neighborhod bordered by Casco Bay and the river on either side. The swells in the bay are rare, let alone those covering the bridge :wow: Pictures 6 and 7 were in a more wooded, protected section of the coast. They still don't have power. Picture 8 is my flooded backyard thanks to my idiot neighbor clearcutting and filling in up to the stream (now further back/in my yard) with no warning or thinking about the environment/our yard/being a decent neigbor  :explode: :swear: Well, enjoy the somewhat depressing photos, and lets hear your survival stories :worthless: |
Where are the pics???

Yah it was nuts......
First time I've EVER seen a school closed for wind...it happened in Baltimore. |

Man, I despise the weather around here. I really wish I could move south. Chapel Hill, NC was like, 70F and sunny this afternoon :banghead: |
i'm on spring break.

Crazy pics, crazy weather.
Even here in NC we had cars flipped over and roof tops ripped off. A friend of mine works up in the Bank of America tower here and the wind blew out his office mate's floor-to-ceiling windows. Said it was just like a bomb. |
Neighbors tree dropped through my fence. Whoops!

Damn that looks bad... probably due to weather climate change. Nice pics...
