Yea, I heard that there is a software upgrade to make the interface just like the Mark IV?

Can you point me in the right direction? It is the wide screen but runs on CDROMs.

Seems like you have Mk 3 unit. Get a mk4 to get the best benefit. Upgrade the software anyway in the meantime. Check the navigation section of Home page here.

Yes!!! Now you can.

There's a number of great fellow ///M5ers in your area, you should hook up with them sometime... But I'll give you fair warning that they might pull you in to the never ending world of M5 modding... And as Sanguru and Hayaku told me, it's not a cheap hobby.

Now go out stretch her legs some more as it seems like the previous owner didn't really take her out that much as evidenced by the very low mileage for a 2001 beast.

Yea, my friend has an ///M5 and had put so many mods on it he actuall snapped the drive shaft in two. I am sure I will be modding it soon. I am going to get a short shift kit and the AF Temp Sensor relocator kit my friend invented. I guess when she get's up to operating temp she get's sluggish because the temp sensor is inside the engine compartment and always reads incorrectly once the engine has warmed up.

How does he find the ride on the Z4 with the sport package and run-flats?
(Sorry I know this is horribly off topic, can't resist)

Man I wish I had mini-cars when I was a kid. I always wanted a car I could propel with my own legs when I was a small kid, but I only had a tricycle.

Yes the SSK is definitely a must for your first mod and don't forget the V1 if you don't have one yet as it'll save you from unnecessary police encounters.
