I saw one of these In Cabo San Lucas.

An 18K Rose gold Rolex with Diamonds. I put this thing on my wrist the way it looked was unbelievable. All i could say is wow. Anybody got one?

Very nice, there was a jewelery show at the B-more convention center last weekend, Rolex galore.

Not a big fan of yellow gold. Oddly enough, I have a two-tone Yachtmaster, though. Go figure. :dunno:

I had a yellow gold/white/diamond rolex president for a bit...sold it to my father after four weeks...I just dont like Rolex I don't know if it is size shape or what but thier watches and I just don't mix

It's not yellow gold it's rose gold. That's what attracted me to it in the first place.

Rose gold is nice ... that looks like Rolex model 118235 president with silver jubilee diamond dial. That's one of my favorite dials, actually :) Although I personally prefer white gold ;)

My apologies. Still not a fan, though.

jek889 04-27-2007 11:58 AM

I personally don't like the rose gold. Just looks a little too pink. I do have a President's model that my Dad gave me in yellow gold with a gold face and diamond markers. Great watches that will last for a lifetime.

Quicksilver 04-27-2007 03:42 PM

That's the one. $23,000.00 in Cabo.

I'm partial to Omega's. Not a big Rolex fan.

Quicksilver 04-27-2007 03:51 PM

Not quite.

I was just relating the experience of seeing it. I was not really interested in buying or comparing it to other watches others have. I saw a yellow gold one like it in the case in Cabo and made the comment to the sales person that i wonder what it would look like with diamonds (The one I saw had none) She said let me look and see what I can find. I took off for other parts of the store and about ten minutes later my friend called me and said they have something for you. I looked and it was beautiful. It felt like it weighed 3 pounds. When i put it on it took on a whole different personality. I was really impressed with how the way it looked just drew me in and said BUY ME.

I love my Yachtmaster. Platinum though. Yellow gold or rose gold (it all looks yellow) is dated. Maybe I am from a different generation though. @ 27 I say you'd be hard pressed to find anyone under 30 wearing yellow (or rose) gold. Stainless steel or platinum is the way to go!! plus the value has gone way up in the last couple years!

Meiac09 04-29-2007 08:52 AM

to each his own, but the only expensive watch that's ever been in my house was owned for two days by a boston mobster

it was sold for an antique car a year later.

(I use my cell phone, tan line OCD :ninja: )

SANguru 04-29-2007 07:12 PM
