The vid was a snippet of common sense, homilies, etc.,
though tossing the spare and jack and betting on the tow
truck/changer cretin is a great leap...all the other stuff was
std CR/Kiplinger's one line paragraphs on "how to stay well",
"make money", "save on your electric bill" etc. The guy's fancy
'puter stats were so anecdotal as to be laughable...

As for the acetone, it has been around since my high school
days dragging azz on Woodward Ave., circa 1964.
I don't rec'd it, acetone that is...

How does this inane junque get on the web and how does
anyone pay attention? Lol!

OT...

I took the SAT in early 1965...it mighta been called sumpin' else
then. Took it, and the ACT. Did ok, but neither test discerned
my genius motes, ...

Gresch and Tijanaw always poke me about my "writing style". ;)

As long as one can read it, understand it, and sometimes enjoy it,
I'm ahead of the game.

Does making up questions/writing for the SAT pay well? I need
to supplement my retired gig.

Damn, Gresch...I'm trying to discern if that's an endearment or...

Esa probably makes only semi-sense in his native tongue. ;)

Let's see...

A little acetone, one of those intake vortex thingies, and pretty soon I'll be selling gas to the neighborhood gas station!

Being a die-hard Rangers fan, that's about as close to the definition of "term of endearment" that I can bestow on you in this situation! :)

Where is the poster, "Withidl"?
He's forgotten more about this stuff than
most of us know, collectively.

We used to dump nail polish remover into
our gas tanks, in the mid 60s. It seemed to
help, but it might have been the placebo effect...
we also ran Sunoco Blue 260 for 24 cts a gallon, lol!

Mythbusters episode 53. Acetone reduced gas mileage. Busted.

You gotta trust guys that blow things up for fun.

 Yeah, Love that show!

The one where the put mothballs, sugar, and bleach in the gas was good!
An egg can stop a radiator leak too!
