Interesting piece of equipment

Wierd, but cool. Why would you want to send tv/a movie to the other side of the globe, though? :dunno: It's cool though..

It would really help those people who travel internationally for work and such. Sony has a similar product. http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...s&Dept=tvvideo |
Well... again, yes, it's cool, but... is it really useful? Nice concept, though.

People like me who travel for work and want to watch the Yankees/Rangers/Knicks/Giants while they're on the road instead of the local teams. Also, it's good for people in the TV industry who have to review/approve/view shows/movies that they might be considering licensing/buying/etc.... |
i could use one here.
freaking extended stay does not have my favorite channel (sci-fi) and it would be nice to get the local chicago news . just might grab one up! |
I just read Walter Mossberg's report on the Slingshot, and maybe I've changed my mind! :D
That DOES seem like a very cool and useful device -- especially for those who travel a lot. Very interesting... very cool stuff. No Mac version yet, though. (Mossberg did say that a Mac version is in the works.) Juan |
I have to say, thats a neat little box! I can't think of any uses for it right now, but you gotta love the technology thats coming out!
