I think that they're too small and would be worried about getting into an accident, especially worried to turn a teenager loose in one.

Concerning the NCAP crashtests Smart is not too bad. He got three of for stars! That is the same like other small cars are rated.

If I had a teenage son/daughter, I'ld go buy them a '69 Chrysler Newport ;)

My kids get a smart. And with the saved money for the fuel they spent each year two holidayweeks at Bora Bora! ;)

I thought the Ultimate Driving Machine is the Ariel Atom........:confused:

small does not always equal unsafe. Get over it. Does anyone here think the Mini Cooper is unsafe?

True it doesn't, but let's see what that "smart" looks like after getting rear ended by an X, or any other car for that matter.
