I know, I know...

I've actually had my 993 since Dec 2001. But have had too many expenses to spend the extra $$$ on the pcar. I would have even waited a bit longer but since my clutch was shot.. Time to do the work. I figured, why put in a RS Clutch and RS LWF and still have the stock suspension. If I get both at the same time, I will appreciate it more and no more procrastinating.

In terms of other mods, don't plan to do much else really. Can't make the engine any faster without big $$$ it is naturally aspirated. I love the sound of my exhaust (have the factory motorsound kit.) and I love the stock wheels. I have two sets (for track and street.)
So other than possibly a roll bar, a sport seat, hans, 6 point belts, not really much left to do.

I won't race her, if I am going to race, I would rather be in a Skip Barber car and do an arrive and drive. And my CEO wants us to be able to take the Pcar out for dinner and rides through Malibu.

The only other mods I have done to her, cosmetic.. I installed the Turbo S ducts on the front and removed bumperettes and installed euro clear turn signals.

Got a new California plate for her too..

i love the plate! if you didn't know, my plate was "KETCHEP" but now its just sitting in my garage since the car is no longer registered as a street vehicle. I need to find another red car to put the plate on... hahahaha

i'm sure you can find more things to add... lol.. the force is strong with you...

are you going to do any time trialing with that car? be a shame not to compete in some sense with all that gear...

In terms of time trials, I don't think so. Not because I'm not a competitive person, quite the contrary. My understanding is, with insurance, if there is any type of "timing" it is classified as "racing" and my auto insurance won't cover any damge in the event of an off road excursion. That's why I only use the car for DE's.. I like the security of insurance. State Farm does cover "Drivers Ed and lapping days" but no "timed events" And that is why when I do race, it will be with a Skip Barber.. Those cars are a lot less expensive to fix and I don't have to worry about depreciation because of damage.

But I will volunteer myself to drive your car in a time trial :)
Just kidding of course.
