Hey...anytime you place an electronic device close to a large EM (ElectroMagnetic) fileld, anything can happen. Cell phone have their EM field peak mostly during call initiation (incoming or outgoing).

I know if I have my cell on vibrate, and it's anywhere near a paper-magnetic-strip card (Metro farecard, parking lot ticket, etc.) it will de-magnetize it.

Sucks to be one of the unlucky ones with one of these keys when it happens. :damn:
