absolutely not. imho, the foleo is not innovative nor will it be useful to most smartphone users. i am so disappointed in palm. i had my first pda (a palm vx) in 1999 and fell in love with palm then. i've been steadily let down over the years by treos that aren't stable or reliable (a 600 in 2003 and a 680 in late 2006 - and i've found the 680 isn't any more reliable than the 600 was!).
i have my treo (for now, until i get an iphone and then burn my treo 680 at the stake and do a happy dance around it) and i have a macbook with which i sync my treo (though missing sync has its own problems and i'm so ready to not have to use it). i don't need any other device to replace my laptop or to make my treo more useful. what on earth was jeff hawkins thinking? i really hope that the leadership changes they are making will have a major impact. otherwise, i'm hoping that palm will go under so they learn their lesson that failure to improve their bread and butter products over time and pseudo-innovation do not fly.
