More TB news:

In my opinion, regardless if he was told to fly or not, when he was in Italy and found out that he should not fly because his TB is contagious, he still violated all laws of humanity by flying back to the US on a commercial airline.

Ok, so he was afraid the medical care he might get outside the US would not be as good as the care inside the US, so that is reason enough to risk infecting all the other people on the plane...?

This guy is a real asshole.. And even if no one told him not to fly, he still made the choice to fly back when he knew he was contagious.

"I couldn't afford a private jet," he whines... So he put his own health concerns in front of all the other people on that international flight, while knowing the CDC thought he was a danger to all the people around him.

Yeah, a personal injury trial lawyer... I wish I was on that plane so I could mete out the type of massive mental-anguish personal injury lawsuit against him that he regularly delivers to doctors, business owners, etc...

I would actually jump for joy :bounce: if each one of the hundreds on that plane sued him for negligent endangerment with massive pain and suffering demands.

Yes he def. is a dick, I hope he gets sued

I hope his pops-in-law gets smoked too.

Fool works with TB at the CDC. Should have his license revoked...

i think he said they told him while he was in italy that it was not treatable (extremely anitobiotic resistant), not that he was contagious.

there is a difference. i think this whole story has to flush out more before anyone gets crucified.

anyone, that is, except our government who find him and prevent from entering the country. our border security is a joke. god forbid a real health scare hits.

I highly doubt that the CDC stopped everything, memorial day weekend, to contact a guy in Italy, to tell him that his illness was not treatable. Doesn't that seem like information they might wait to tell him until after he returns from his wedding...

In the grand scheme of common sense, wouldn't it make more sense that the CDC, on memorial day weekend, tracked this guy down to tell him that he was contagious and should check in to an Italian health department..
And if they did not tell him that he was contagious, why did he fly into Canada rather than the US (because he was on the no fly list because he was contagious..)

Sometimes 2+2 does equal 4 ..
