my fleet...what's yours?
BMW X5 3.0 2002 - 19mpg : it is just there to drive, mostly weekends, but love it the most and spend the most money on.
TOYOTA 4Runner SR5 2003 - 19mpg: Most reliable truck for winters, i drive it the most during winter months, love it blasting through heavy snow. HONDA CIVIC 2007 LX - 30mpg: drive to work everyday, save my $ on gas, loving it, i bought it 2 months ago and have saved $300 on gas since then. |
These should be in your user profile
.....but anyway.... 2004 545 2004 X5 |
A bit odd combination maybe:
2002 X5 4.4 i 1959 Ford Skyliner |
Yeah...most of us have them listed in sig or profile or the usual
rantings we do, ... -'01 X5 3.0 5 Spd manual, Sport, etc. 58K miles: some around town, probably 75% from runs up and down the interstates, on the Right Coast. 20.2 mpg on the 'puter, seldom reset in nearly 6 yrs. -'03 Honda CR-V EX, IL 4, 47K miles; theCEO's pos. One of the crummiest cars I've ever owned, beyond the good motor. 15-18 mpg daily driving, 22-23 on highway, eats a set of tires annually, more squeaks and rattles than an old pickup, 3rd world interior and "quality", was made in England. -'02 Corvette Vert, 360 HP, 6 Spd Manual, Z51 susp., loaded. Hauls azz, overall mpg in the mid-high 20s, does 30-32 mpg on trips, trunk holds 2 sets of golf clubs and soft luggage for week long trips, corners like a go cart, almost M'cycle fast, maybe the best car I've ever owned. I can count the glitches on one hand in 5+ years and 28K miles. -'87 Honda Hurricane 1000 cc. Bought new 20 yrs ago, low tech by today's sled stds, but still hauls azz and is in remarkable shape. Turn key, go fast, have fun. 36K miles. Avg 45 mpg on any grade gas. -94 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade, 40K miles, been across the country 4 times, all over the Maritimes, upper Quebec, New England, etc. 40 mpg avg., when loaded. Fairly turn key, but needs tires, brakes, etc. etc. Would love a new GW. -75 Harley Davidson FXE Shovelhead, elec and kick start. My first new motorcyle, bought it at Jake's HD in Detroit 5-'75. 60+K miles. 45 mpg. Showing her age and needs an overhaul and cosmetic surgery. It sticks out in the parking lot at any M'cycle gathering, as it's not lost in the sea of newer HDs. A dinosaur of a motorcycle but she has soul... Used only for short cruises, lol! BR,mD |
