reverse high beam?
has anyone ever done this on their ride? this can be very handy if some jerk high beams you from behind because you passed them wouldnt it?
|
Maybe? Or it could be an invitation to getting yourself shot at by some road rage maniac.
|
Reverse high beams have been installed on pick-ups, etc. for a long time. they are aftermarket and also illegal.
The nickname for them is: Asshole Lights, I can think of two reasons why. 1) to bright the asshole behind you. 2) Because it's on the very rear of the truck. I only recommend it for non road use, trailer towing, etc. B |
I've done it (adding rear "driving" lights) on one of my previous car, but only because of the long dark driveway (and dark tint) at the time.
I agree with the comment about road rage. If someone high beams you, just move over and let them pass. Heck...you should have moved over long before they have to high beam you. Why does everyone need to hog the left lane? |
