Testing an IPhone

The VP technology of my company has shown interest in evaluating the iPhone. For that I have, in my possession, a 4GB model. Thanks for your time

you can say that. I had to go see and "test" what the hype was about. :)

Few quick comments:

1. Dice works perfectly with the iPhone. Text, sound and all. One time it was a bit buggy but I guess you need to lock the phone and then dock it to the HD-Dice. This is a big bonus

2. The browser access is very good. I could never get to use the web on HTC but this is very much usable.

3. Access to phonebook is ok. Nothing great.

4. voice quality is quiet good.

5. Activation was painless. Nicely done Apple.

The President of my company was playing with safari today on the iPhone, and was very impressed with the way it worked with his EMR.

So he bought one (of 5 that arrived via Fedex) while standing there). Just cancelled my blackberry data plan, and will be provisioning it in 2 hours allowing to avoid the delay in activation.....
