Wow. The Rangers are stealing from some area teams. That should be interesting when the teams/former teams meet.

I guess we should get used to this stuff with the new CBA and new UFA rules.

Yeah we could have used Drury or Brier!!!! We got Nylander back from you guys. Not bad pick ups for the Ducks either!!

Ok, now we've lost Lang (Chicago), and Calder (Kings). I don't give a damn about Lang, but Calder hurts.

We're losing all our depth/gritty players. That was the "problem" identified last off-season, so why are we dumping them? DAMN IT!

I think it's that the Wings had so many UFA's and in the new market they'll go wherever the bucks are going to be. It sucks, IMO, because it sort of allows a mercenary atmosphere and loyalty is secondary. Guys will have closets full of jerseys of teams they've played for! Just look at Bertuzzi and Ryan Smyth (who went to the Avs.) They were both trade-deadline rentals. I think it's kind of sad.
