Spanish learning software, good ones?
 

Anyone have good success with software for learning Spanish? I am sure I've forgotten everything I once knew, and would like to gain it back.

Looking for any recommendations or tips. If you have had any real success with Rosetta Stone or other Spanish language software, I'd like to hear about it.

rosetta stone and a series called "learning behind the wheel" - listen and repeat cd's while you are on the road. broken into multiple levels also...

Forget formal lessons. Learn from the streets like I did. Of course all I can do is swear. :D

Seriously, great question. I've been thinking about learning for real.

Pimsleur is pretty good. It is designed to repeat previously learned sections at specific intervals based on memory patterns for easier comprehension. Spanish is broken into three lessons for basic, intermediate and advanced.

Pimsleur all the way. I've used it for Japanese and I'm starting the Spanish one now.

Ok, so far that's two votes for Rosetta Stone, two for Pimsleur, and one for, uh, Walmart. I will agree that Walmart on Saturday is like taking an Instant Immersion class on Spanglish. :rofl:
