very true, however getting around dead pit bulls being found by the gross in/on your property will be hard to talk your way out of.

not really, high profile can and do get out of it. most of them will get out of it for sure. money does talk when it comes to hiring the best lawyer. bb players chase/hunt/shoot people around town and get sentenced for public disturbance. i wont be surprised if it turned out that he walks free. even with more serious cases, they still walk free or maybe with some fines which they can always afford.

I hope he gets banned from the NFL... then eventually shot. Ok, maybe not the last part, but I really don't like the guy. Never liked him at Tech and can't stand him with the Falcons. Now with this, dispise him even more. People say McNabb is over rated as a QB... Oh yeah, and Vick is SOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo much better.

MrLabGuy 07-18-2007 12:37 PM

Federal authorities filed court documents outlining an alleged dogfighting operation sponsored by "Bad Newz Kennels" at a property owned by Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick.

Urban Dictionary lists "Bad Newz" as the street name for Newport News, Virginia, which is Vick's home town.

Yeah Right...Just a coincidence.

True but remember Mike Nifong? He was the reason the Duke case got so screwed up. He is clearly insane.

This case is legit, as in it happened, but the key will be proving Vick's knowledge and involvement. I'm sure there is evidence to prove that. This is a FEDERAL indictment and the Feds don't like to file anything unless it's a good case.

MrLabGuy 07-18-2007 01:22 PM

Just out...

When a Bad Newz Kennels dog was wounded in a losing fight, NFL star Michael Vick was consulted before the animal was doused with water and electrocuted. That's just one of the gruesome details that emerged Tuesday when the Atlanta Falcons quarterback and three others were indicted by a federal grand jury.

Unlike previous documents, which did not name Vick, the indictment is littered with his name, including this tidbit—Vick was known as "Ookie" in the dogfighting world.

He's Toast!

noncom23 07-18-2007 02:02 PM

Mike and MIke saying sponsors will drop him and Falcons will pull him with loss of sponsors.

NOVAX5 07-18-2007 02:48 PM

here we go, media will jump all over it. you must love this country for this kinda stuff. now we should sit down at watch the show unfolds. first media will cover this news everywhere they can. then next the his lawyer team come into view, blah, blah, blah. next vick will walk free or with probably 20 hours community service for something he didn't have knowledge of. but anyway endorsement deals are dropping like crazy. he is hurt. next falcon go on to win championship, vick will be hero once again. endorsement deals start to comeback. marcus vick ask him for advice how to deal with european football clubs (not even european clubs sucker). delta hub in atlanta will have to remove his picture all over the airport, but they will put them back with even bigger size. and blah, blah, blah, football goes on and he drives his mercedes mclaren to night clubs once again. concrete blocks, he doesn't have that picture in mind. kobe will call him to say how bad he feels for being target of media and end up having a beer with vick.

Wagner 07-18-2007 03:22 PM

Tell ya, if these charges come out as true...football is the least of his concerns.

blondboinsd 08-17-2007 01:08 PM

God, what trash, I really hope they throw the book at him

You know I ask myself all of the time, why on earth do proffessional atheletes hang out with criminals and gang members, I understand most people growing up have a friend or two that is on "The bad side" but just distance yourself from them once you get into a certain proffession where you are in the public eye. I mean cmon dog fighting for money, do you honestly think Vick needs money, no but he puts his money in to back the "bad" friends he has or maybe he just is a wannabe gangster I dunno. Whatever it is he is guilty, no two ways around it and because of his stupidity he will loose money lots of it for that matter, and for what reason? To be notorious in the illegal dog fighting world? Well my congrats to you Ookie, you will be remembered as a retard who lost millions and threw away a football career as well as murdered innocent animals. I hope you rot in prison you worthless scumbag......

Guinness and McNabb went to school together. I don't think you need to know Vick to no he is a PIECE OF SH_T and should be beaten within an inch of his life.

Quicksilver 08-17-2007 07:44 PM

Don't apologize. I was asking Guinness. ;)

It's just that you stick up for everyone who has done something wrong in sports

Quicksilver 08-18-2007 01:01 AM

Oh yeah..........give me the list of the everyone's I stuck up for. :nanana:

I have never stuck up for anyone who has been convicted of something or it has been proven that they have done something wrong in sports or otherwise.

I don't have an opinion about Mr Vick because i don't know a thing other than what I've read or heard 3rd hand. GUINNESS post sounded like he knew him, therefore the question.

Carry On

Maybe he did know him, what's it to you if he knows him or not, the guy looked like a gangster before any of this came out I'm surprised it didnt come out sooner. I mean the guy already got busted for weed in an airport, Hey Mr. Vick dont you think you cant wait to get home and toke up, why bring it in an airport????

Quicksilver 08-18-2007 11:56 AM

dr.jay: Relax. I'm sure if GUINNESS has a problem with my question he will address it as such. As far as your "what's it to you question"? I believe i already explained that. So do me a favor and arm wrestle with someone else.
I have no interest or further comment regarding the subject. :nanana:
