Can Sergio Close The Deal At Carnoustie?
....I think his belly putter looks like crap, but a scorecard is not a collection of pictures....I say he can and will win his first Major....It's the toughest course I've ever seen: In 2000, as a 8.3 index, from the white tees, I shot a cool 95. Comparatively speaking, I shot an 81 and a 79 at St. Andrews, in the same golfing week. Bring the Spaniard.

I hope the other SG does it tomorrow (or today in Scots-land). Europe needs a win. I played with his friend and hopefully up-and-coming Spaniard Pablo Martín last year when he was stilll an amateur. They have individual swings like Seve but they can get it done. As you said also in your post, Carnoustie is one tough course. A friend who has played it was told by his caddie that he could tell all his friends that he had a par #15 which is one of the toughest holes. Other than that is was a disaster round. The ball kept on rolling into the toughest of lies :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: |

Garcia is foldin' like a deck of cards.... pulling for him though.
BTW... to Mr. Woods... hard to concentrate on golf when you have a company, foundation, media, public, wife and now..... welcome to fatherhood.d |
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Harrington crumbles under the pressure. WOW double water... triple maybe quadruple bogey on 18????

Nope, Garcia couldn't hold it out!

Sergio acting like a victim really makes him look bad. I was kinda rooting for him, but to say that he hit good shots and implying he didn't get any breaks? WTF!!!
He folded like a wet noodle. He may end up like Phil now, mentally screwed!!! |
