Can you clone or get two Sim cards for the same phone?:dunno:
I have several phones I want to use at different locals.

There are a few companies which make dual-sim adapters, but you need to make sure the phone you have supports dual sims. In my experience, the GSM phones sold by AT&T and T-Mobile do not allow for this. But many unlocked GSM phones do.

I heard someone say that they use special cutting device to cut the sim cards so that 2 can fit in one slot. Never seen it so not sure if its true.

The cell phone Co's in Europe do it. But of course not here.

Provided the cell phones are unlocked and GSM why not just
transfer the card to any of the several phones you want to use at different locals?

Other than that it would seem to me that the
carrier could tell if you were operating more than one phone
on one line at the same time which is what you would be
doing by having a cloned sim card.

Perhaps I misunderstood him, but I thought he wanted to use 2 different phone numbers (SIM cards) with a single phone at the same time.
