Strange request...
I just posted this here because it seems to be the most read forum and I need some advise quick.
I just bought a 1969 Old Cutlass. It is in Florida and I am in Niagara Falls. I need to get the car here as quick and cheap as possible. Has anyone dealt with a company that will transport it? Any help would be great, Thanks guys. I'll post some pics when I get her :) |
That's a lot of miles and since carriers generally schedule a favorable route, your car could be 5-10 days getting to you at the earliest. They'd be picking up and dropping off along the way...
Have you considered flying down with a one-way ticket and driving it back up? That will probably be quicker and cheaper. And, hey, it's a good excuse for a road trip  |
Ya I had thought of that, but I just got back from vacation... D'oh. And I don't have a problem waiting to get it here, I just need to get it out of the guys hands, he is moving.
I found thi site, it is free and looks very cool.... have to check this out... http://www.uship.com/shippers.aspx I have one bid on it already and it just went up :) |
Best advice, sell it now! j/k!

Many of the United Van Line type movers take cars, especially if they're not full or it's "off-season" in moving. call your local united van lines or 1 in fla and see if they can help. I used Liberty Moving on Long Island when I moved across country 2x and both times they offered to ship my car with my stuff.
