They just created more demand by destroying 5 very nice vehicles. Now 5 people will not be able to purchase these vehicles and will have to go elsewhere to find some wheels. :wtf:Wow, that was stupid.

With rampant corruption in the Philippines I'm actually surprised but happy that they did destroy the smuggled vehicles. But I assure you that this is more of a show than an actual change in policy....

This is normal practice to demostrate that the government is doing something, what isn't reported and goes under the radar are hundreds more of smuggled vehicles that are allowed in with the proper bribes and connections with high ranking officials in the government.

Among other smuggled cars were a couple of bmw 750 Li's, a porsche gt2, ferraris and lamborghinis. Now that would be a site to see (and a little more convincing of a policy change) if they had demolished those cars as well.
