Has anyone else noticed that we have been having ALOT of small earthquakes lately?

3 in the last week right? yah. felt them too.

Yeah, it seems like an awful lot, sorta freaky!

i think its because its been so hot...hopefully no more dude, we dont need no big earthquakes!!!

What's freaky about it, you live on a fault line along tectonic plates...what were you expecting? Move to the Mississippi flood plain and then wonder why you have floods every year :rofl:

Yeah We're safer in San Diego then other major cities but still not off limits!

Snap, we just had ANOTHER one

I was researching earthquake activity and fault locations this weekend for a new home I am buying on Thursday. Not much you can do about staying away from earthquakes in California but you can stay away from areas prone to liquefaction.

This house is in the foothills which is not prone to liquefaction; however, the foothills were created by an earthquake fault. Either way in a major event there will be a whole lot of shaking going on.

That said...It has been quiet up here in the Northern part of the State.
