Change is in the air.
 

I seriously hate this cooler weather that's been filtering in the Eastern half the US these couple days. This morning, it was actually chilly when I went to class in the morning. It reminds me of fall, which in turn leads to........(gasp) winter! :tantrum:

Plus, this abrupt weather change gets my nose all stuffed up.

The weather isn't what's disturbing me. I left work Tuesday at 7 pm and it was already dusk :saad: I hate when it gets dark so early. 7 weeks or so left until clock change...I HATE FALLING BACK :mad:

Hopefully we'll have a winter like last year. The weather was beautiful until January. Then we froze our butts off for the entire month of February. I could deal with one bad month. I didn't change to my 18s and Scorpions until January last year.

I hate winter as well.

Suck it up, you live in MD man...our winters are TAME by most standards (head up to Maine in April, it will still be about 40 degrees out)

But I love this weather! I am so ready for fall! It means I can finally wear sweaters and scarves and jackets again. Fall has the best clothes. :)

Yeah, I'm dreading winter. it gets down in the 50's sometimes here in California. Plus it occasionally rains.

My clothes pretty much stay the same, season-to-season - short sleeve henleys in warm weather & shorts, long-sleeve henleys in cold weather & Levis. I can't stand anything touching my neck...

Correction. I pretty much "live" in Charlottesville, VA (Univ. of VA), which has less snowy winters. In fact, it practically never snows here.........it just ices up. I just hate winter, period. It's cold, nasty, and annoying to drive in. I'm def gonna look for a job down south when I get out of college. Plus, there's the aforementioned short days and no DST.

(Actually, had I attended UNC in Chapel Hill, NC, I would have had no snow at all and a milder climate :rolleyes:)

Um hate to break it to you, but it snows in NC/SC as well. Just not as much. And when it does..it shuts the entire city down!

It's rare. But I can understand what u mean by shutting the entire city down. One of the jokes a speaker made at the UNC orientation program for admitted students was:

"Chapel hill is a great location. You're 2 hours from the mountains, and 2 hours from the beach. So in the summer, you can head down to the beach and get a nice tan. In the winter, you can watch the southerners try to drive in the snow." :rofl:

My uncle/aunt live in Portland, OR. It usually rains there and rarely snows. But since they have no snow removal, they say its basically impossible to get around when it does snow. They live on this bigass, steep hill (Forest Park I believe), and I can imagine how bad it would be with 2" of snow/ice and no snow removal :wow:. They do rely on their X5 during such times, since their 330i is shod with summer sports tires.

Yeah, I hear ya..
Those winter temperatures can really get under your skin.
Sometimes, when it drops to around 65 degrees here, I actually have to put on a long sleeve, (at night).. LOL.
