I think the report of him dropping the charges is in dispute. What is not in dispute are the charges themselves.

I'm not questioning the felony charge, I'm wondering why a person who had a felony committed against them would drop the charge.

Just a guess...

OJ realizes what kind of trouble he is in and decides to work out a deal with him to keep his mouth shut. The guy was selling memorabilia so I'm figuring OJ returns the Joe Montana items and other non OJ things and offerers him cash to replace the OJ things he took.

Not a far fetch but still a guess.

Not to mention the Federal charges that might follow stemming from the conspiracy over telephone lines and weapons charges based on the fact that the guns were brought over State lines.

The first three carry 2-15 years consecutive sentences without the possibility of parole.

...maybe, with a little perseverance, Clark County can put that murderer away for quite some time....couldn't happen to a nicer assh*le.

Not very many appropriate words start with an "O" that I could think of...We should have a contest. I have a feeling Obviate would go most peoples heads thought it fits perfectly.

personally, with the media circus that went on with the first OJ case, I could understand why a victim of a crime might decide not to testify or drop the case.

Who would want their entire lives investigated by the media for being a victim like what happened in the first OJ case.
Not to mention the obligation to be available for all the court trials, appeals, etc.

I believe in justice but sometimes it's better to let sleeping dogs lie.

I know if I were the victim in this case, I would probably run from it.. And it wouldn't take a thug or a bribe... Probably just the hopes that paparazzi reporter jerk would get off my lawn and stop shooting pictures of me through the bathroom window, etc.

Therefore..............:iagree: ....
