-I HATE that the DRL's are the Xenon Headlamps and that they are very over sensitive, Lord knows how long of a life those have, but they ARE covered under the 4/60 warrenty, and you cannot switch them off Grr!
-I dislike that unlike the X there is no side strip for doors to hit, instead they hit your door, that means expensive door dings :rofl:
-Item Number 3 is my Sirius Radio, Why oh Why does it cut out so much? It's roof mounted but it seems everytime I go into a small valley or under a freeway overpass it cuts out, very annoying!

Xenons, you're f*cked. They'll go at 65-75k. Well, they won't go, one will start flickering, they will say its consumable, then it will go out, they will push it back in and it works and they still won't work. Then you call a lawyer because BMW customer service really isn't that bad.
Get a VAG-COM hookup if you want them off.
Side strip doors? Park further out :lol: I'm pretty sure theres an accessory.
Sirius? Whatever.
You seem pretty lucky, we started with a V6, albeit with the air suspension, and we got around 12 for the first 10,000 miles. Good luck, and sorry to bring back a dead thread :p |
