I am getting either a YZF-R6 or a Ducati Monster after the winter, I have 2 Quads(four wheelers) now a 07 Raptor 700se(Waaay to fast) and a 04 Kodiak 400. They are both getting sold for a bike.

Love to have one but the wife would leave me.
18 years ago driver in a hurry jumped out from behind slower traffic and hit me head on totaled my Ninja 750 and ME. Be carefull out there the other drivers are the problem.

Current Scoots in the stable:
-1987 Honda Hurricane 1000, near pristine.
-1994 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade, like an ol'Cadillac
-1975 HD Shovelhead, (my first "new" sled, bought way
back in May of '75.)

Been riding for 45 years; ride whenever I feel like it.

I have been riding for 30years. Currently ride an 1985 Honda Magna which I restored. I put 20k miles on it in the last 2 years. Comptemplating buying another bike like a Yamaha FJR or Kawa Councours but personal issues may make me wait a little bit for that. Bikes that I owned include a 1978 Honda CB 125 twin (my first real bike, red line at 14k RPM! sounded like a vacuum cleaner at that rev), 1975 350 Motobecane (3 cylinders 2 strokes, piece of crap, kept it only 1 year) , 1982 Honda 500 CX (V twin, great bike but a little under powered), 1993 Honda 750VFR (V4, the best bike I ever owned to date) and my current 1985 Magna (V4, looks like a cruiser but rev and ride more like a sport bike).
My advise to you would be to be very prudent and stay alert all the time when riding. In my 30 years of riding I have seen too many accidents which could have been avoid with a little bit of common sense and awareness. Remember that what would only be a fender bender with a car would almost always results in serious injuries with a bike.
Have fun

Me too!

I have had more injuries and recovery time on my bikes than on my motorcycles (all of which have been gone for 23 years now). Last motorcycle was a restored BMW R50/5 from 1970.

I'm confused... What's a bike? Co-worker of mine tells me that he rides his bike, I came outside and it's a bicycle and no motor to be seen!
