That is what I thought, .Mac was the only way to do it. Will it also sync contacts in Mail? Love alerting features of mail (especially for business invoicing) but would like the alerts to apply to all systems....

Here are the Sync options:

Bookmarks
Calendars
Widgets
Dock items
Key chains
Mail accounts
Mail rules, signatures, smart mailboxes
Notes
Preferences

I had the same issue with my desktop PC when all of the windows updates hit. I lost my internet connection as well. After I reset IE 7, it worked again. The days of my PC are numbered :D.

I'm using parallels to run XP on my Mac so This wasn't a matter of updates or anything I just decided to send some mail and no internet connection. I have only 2 programs i use on the PC platform and believe me if i didn't have to use them XP would be gone. I'm still thinking about getting a PC laptop just for the purpose of getting this junk off my Mac.
