Replica Watches I started to follow some links for fun and...

So we all get a couple hundred fake watch spams every year. I decided to google fake watches to see what the story was. Turns out they have fakes so good that they cost over 1k. Thats right 1K for a fake watch.

Just curious, but what exactly is "fake" about these fake watches. Do they tell time? Are they made of quality materials or are they made of inferior materials? Or is the watch just as good quality and build as the original but made by a different company?

I just ask because I've seen "fake" products before that were just as good as the originals and the only "fake" thing was the brand logo. In that case I'd take the fake one and save some cash.

Well as a watch collector if you couldn't afford the real one then don't buy it at all as fake. Imitations or counterfeits are illegal and the money there goes to support the criminals in various ways.

More often than not a person wearing a fake ... Is a fake.

I have heard many times that purchases of counterfeit goods are supporting various other criminal endeavors. Possibly even terrorist I suppose. Fakes suck though. Phoney people buy them. But then again, some people just look so tacky that even if they have the real deal holyfield you still think they are rocking a fake.

If you're gonna spend a grand..spend it on a real watch. There are plenty of high quality real watches you can buy in that price range. First one comes to thought is Movado. If you want a Rolex..get the cheese to buy a real one or you don't have any business wearing one..

You're kidding right, what about the patents and copyrights? You're in the 'music business' if I remember, how would you like people freely copying your crap then selling it on a street corner as the original.....;)

Why can't replica rim companies just say they are making OEM BMW rims...they are good quality.....
