UN asking for urgent action on climate change...you can't even stop countries from killing one another....sure....lets unify for something 75% of the world doesn't care about.

Or do anything about. Which if you think about it perfectly describes what the UN does best.

It's almost as if these clowns live in a box. To have any significant climate effect for human existence (yeah the world will not end because of the ozone and warming temps....our existence might though) you would have to get at a minimum the following 100% on board cutting out any need their economy has:

- China
- Russia
- India
- USA
- Brazil
- Canada
- Britain
- Germany
- France
- Spain
- Saudi Arabia
- Egypt
....you get the point...

Simply put...impossible. Instead focusing on things you can actually control...like what fuels are used, what standards construction has in your country, what can you do to make each town it's own energy source, what products can you reuse for different purposes?....etc...

It's doubtful that doing those things will be enough. People don't like to hear that, but it is the reality of the situation.

Enough for what??? I'm not attempting to solve the bogus "world in peril" issue...because I think it is Horse....ah...doodie :)

If you don't believe in it, then you don't believe in it. You are obviously allowed to have your opinion. But be aware that you disagree with 99% of the scientists out there.

Wagner 11-17-2007 10:20 PM

Oh I forgot, they went back 3 million years and got hard stats... :tsk:

And of course they 'agree' they also agreed in 1930 that the atom was the smallest particle on earth, amazing what they can 'agree' on.

Hate to correct you, because it doesn't change the fundamental point of your message which is "we shouldn't believe anything scientists say because they are sometimes wrong", but....

The science of electrons and particle charges was well established prior to 1930. What was agreed on (and still is) is that the atom is the smallest indivisible particle. Electrons were discovered in the late 19th century and the science of them was well established by WWI. Einstein's theory of relativity, which was written in 1905, makes many assumptions about electrons and their behavior.

How many electrons in an X5?

Now that is an impossible question to answer.

Give some more specifics. Are we talking an E53 or E70? 3.0, 4.4, 4.8?? Auto or 6-speed? etc. etc..... :nanana:
